Homeownership Study

In November-December 2016, Yasemin Dildar and I were commissioned by the Building Industry Association – Southern California, Baldy View Chapter, to study the sociological impacts of homeownership in California. The outcome is a 32-page report primarily using county-level data from the American Community Survey, along with data from other State and County websites. The report also includes an extensive, critical discussion of the previous literature on the benefits of homeownership.
